Pilates & Us

Pilates is a method of body conditioning learned through a sequence of exercises on a range of apparatus including the Reformer, Wunda Chair, Cadillac, Barrels and the Mat. The sequence was designed by Joseph Pilates as a routine of exercises to strengthen the body and mind, test stamina, determination, mental resiliency and mindfulness. You will see a likeness to gymnastics and calisthenics, to be practiced over a long period of time.

The Pilates method will introduce concepts like:
